HOW DOES THE FM3 LOOKS LIKE? It has green cover and is passport type it has 20 pages which are numbered: Page 1. Contains Mexico logo and indicates the document type can be non- immigrant or immigrant. Page 2. Contains rules and regulations of the FM3 very important to read Page 3. Contains validation date and place Page 4. Contains the length of time given, multiple entries, cost, and place of issue Page 5. Contains applicants biographical information, right thumb print, authorized activities and applicants signature. The rest of pages are for special annotations, change of address and extensions.

Applicant will need to provide the following requirements to start the process:
- Job offer letter
- Last tax company's return
- Five photographs (4X4 cm), 3 front and 2 right profile (2.5 cm from chin to
hairline), white background, with forehead and ears uncovered, and without earrings or yeglasses. Instant photographs are not acceptable.

Q: Who needs a working FM3 VISA? A: Foreigners that work for foreign corporations with a brunch in Mexico or any Mexican Conpany. Q: For how long is the FM3 Valid? A: for 365 days

Tip: If you obtained an FM3 Visa in any Mexican Consulate in U.S. You have 90 days to validate it, if you go over the 90 days your FM3 Visa is automatically voided. You must validate the FM3 Visa in any Mexico border, airport or seaport. Your FM3 Visa usually is good for 365 days from the day it is validated, before the FM3 Visa expires you need to cancel it or extend it. If you opt to cancel it you must return it in the nearest Mexico Immigration office, border, airport or seaport. If you intention is to extend it every year, you must register your FM3 in the corresponding Mexico Immigration office where you will residing and working at least 30 days after you validate it, then file for the extensions accordingly.
